The remake of ATA, when the human race goes endangered.

ATA-How it Happened
It was 2017. The Moon suddenly left it's orbit, and the Earth was a dark cold place. Millions caught disease from the cold and darkness, many became crazy and committed suicide, and many were killed by other things. Shadows. Shadows were wiped out when the Moon first appeared, after a meteor struck Earth. The gravitational pull of the moon kept them away. Though, as the moon suddenly disappeared from the orbit, the shadows once again appeared, and killed off most of the disease survivors. Now, only about 8,000 people live in the world, and there is a popular group of rebel survivors in New York City. These survivors are the closest in the world to the Shadow Fortress, and are the only ones that can save the human race from becoming completely extinct. This is the Prolouge of ATA. Help make the story.

Quinn Carter sat crouched among the withered leaves in a big elm. Bow drawn, she looked down at the forest floor. She was all alone, and didn't know if there were still other humans around. Was she the last person on Earth? She shuddered at the through.
Then, breaking through her thoughts, the bushes beside the tree rustled. She was well hidden in the leaves.

OOC: ANYONE CAN JOIN! Shadows or humans. Quinn hasn't met the suvivors yet. :P

Adrian was snooping around, trying to figure out where everything was. She had hidden in the bushes that were close to Quinn for protection, but she didn't even know that she was there. With her sword gripped in her hands, she crept around the bushes to see if anything was in the small clearing underneath the tree. When there was nothing, she walked out and cautiously glanced around, not even thinking to look up.

Alli walked to a bush behind Quinn, looking at her cautiously. Who is she? There's other survivors? she thought to herself, hoping she wasn't saying it outloud. Her dark brown hair blew in the soft wind, she held her AK-47 in her hand tightly, holding another full cartridge for it in the other hand.

Quinn narrowed her eyes and peered down at the black haired girl beneath her, seeing she was armed. She didn't seem like a threat, so Quinn jumped down from the high tree landing with her knees bent and a hand resting on the ground. Cautiously she got up and said quietly, trying not to scare the girl with the sword, "Hello."

Adrian whirled around to face Quinn. "H-hello." She managed, her grip on the sword tightening a little at the sight of a new face. "Who are you? Are you one of the survivors Loki talked about?" She asked, remembering her tour through the old Walmart not even a few days ago.

Loki watched from behind a tree, not wanting to startle anyone. He was nervous of a big crowd of armed women, so he kept his distances.

IC: Quinn looked around cautiously. She was getting used to solitairy for the past few months, but now, well now she was surrounded by a group of armed girls and it was making her nervous. "Where do you guys come from?" Quinn asked hesitantly, peering at the newcomers through narrowed eyes.
