The remake of ATA, when the human race goes endangered.

ATA-How it Happened
It was 2017. The Moon suddenly left it's orbit, and the Earth was a dark cold place. Millions caught disease from the cold and darkness, many became crazy and committed suicide, and many were killed by other things. Shadows. Shadows were wiped out when the Moon first appeared, after a meteor struck Earth. The gravitational pull of the moon kept them away. Though, as the moon suddenly disappeared from the orbit, the shadows once again appeared, and killed off most of the disease survivors. Now, only about 8,000 people live in the world, and there is a popular group of rebel survivors in New York City. These survivors are the closest in the world to the Shadow Fortress, and are the only ones that can save the human race from becoming completely extinct. This is the Prolouge of ATA. Help make the story.

They were everywhere. Ari was thinking up plans on how to escape as the wave of shadows overwhelmed him. He was alone. One million to one. Or at first he was.

Chelsea was up in a tree, she sighed at all the shadows. She was on there side, but now she is on neither side. She looked around and all she saw was blackness of the shadows.

He could keep on fighting......not likely to survive. He could call for help, but his pride begged him otherwise. He was backed up to a house, the house of Omega. Though, he didn't know that...

Chelsea looked among the shadows again and noticed a person. She looked closer, and noticed it was Ari! She climbed down the tree disappeared and appeared right next to him. She had her bow and arrow ready.

One shadow stood out from the others. Baby jumped on Ari's shoulders, using it to jump out and grab onto the gutter to escape to the roof.

Adrian had been caught in the terrifying wave of shadows as well, but she was a little ways away from the small group forming near the house of the keeper. She had managed to find her sword a while back and was now using it to slash through shadows quite easily, but the fact that there were so many of them that worried her. After a few more minutes that seemed like hours, Adrian finally caught a slight glimpse of Chelsea now at Ari's side. As quickly as she could, she made her way over to them.

She somewhat watched him run into the house before she was overwhelmed with shadows once again. "Well hurry up!" She shouted after him. "I don't know how much longer I can stall them!" Immediately, her sword sliced through one or two shadows almost like butter, but it seemed like four more took their place.

Ari ran up the stairs, and fumbled through a room, grinning. A net caught his eye. He went through drawers of junk, and also found one match. Perfect. Taking the two, he lit the net on fire, opened the window, and threw it out. It landed on 10 nightcrawlers. They immediately burst into flames, flailing around in panic and running into others. Immediately they combusted from contact, and the chain reaction continued. "Get inside!" he yelled downward, unaware of the being closing from behind him.

Suddenly, the thing in back of him hissed. "Omega...." and lunged. Ari whipped around, and flipped over the window. Before he knew it, he was hanging on the window pane, holding on with one hand, dangling above thousands of idiotic shadows. "Omega" drew closer.

Baby jumped in front of Omega. "HAROUKEN!" Baby blasted shadow energy at Omega, draining half of his own energy, falling over in exhaustian. Nice job.

Adrian, looking up at the dangling Ari and half passed out Baby, gasped quickly before her breath stuck in her throat. Immediately, she ran into the house and up the stairs, taking two and three at a time. When she got to the top, she looked into the room, her eyes locking on the huge monster that [once] stood in front of the window where Ari's life hung by his fingers. "Ari!" She called out, attempting to get to him before he fell.
