Reuben looked inside. A hermit crab walked around in one of the cages. Before Reuben could say anything, it leaped out with a half rotten claw swinging out. Reuben grabbed a fish net and pushed it over, the possessor struggling to get the crab to its feet. Reuben laughed at the antics.

Elena looked around, and found a tank with fish in it. She put her finger up to the glass and the fish followed it. She laughed at them.

She looked around at the cages, then she heard a noise. "What was that?" She asked

She started walking toward where she thought it came from, but she froze as the noise came by again. "There it is again."

IC: Reuben looked around to see one of the cages creaked open. He slowly approached it, drawing his sword.

IC: Reuben looked inside the cage to find it empty. He slowly turned around to see a growling form just yards away.

Elena turned the corner onto the same isle, the shadow dog was on. She froze as she heard growling from behind her, she turned her head slightly to see a shadow dog.

Reuben's hand slowly drifted towards his sword, watching the shadow dog closely.

Elena quickly grabbed her scythe. As she grabbed it, the dog lunged at her. She knocked it to the side into one of the isle rack. The rack started leaning to the side

Reuben's eyes widened as the rack creaked and fell with a loud crash. The whole mall would've heard.

Elena looked at the opening to the store. Through the glass she saw more shadows coming. Her attention went back to the shadow dog, it had bit her leg. She cut the shadow dog in half and turned her attention back to the shadows that where coming.

Elena looked around looking for an escape also, but got tackled by a shadow. "What the heck?" she said trying to get it off.

Reuben stabbed it off of her, feeling tiny claws rake his back.

Elena stood up and started slashing at shadows. Maybe this will help them get out of the store.

Reuben started to push the shadows back out from where they came. They might have to fight to the entrance.

She looked up and saw something hanging low from the ceiling, she then jumped up and grab it.She started to swing slowly back and forth but got faster when she got fast enough, she jumped over the group of shadows. She then whistled to the shadows and ran away.

All but a few of the shadows chased after her when she turned and ran.

Reuben raced after her, taking out the remaining shadows and racing into the crowd, stabbing randomly.

A few shadows broke from the group and tried to deal with Reuben. Elena found every item she could and threw it down at the shadows.
